Chris is a native Oklahoman and a two-time graduate of Oklahoma State University. He earned his master’s degree in Family Financial Planning in Spring of 2017. After completing his degree, he earned the designation of Accredited Financial Counselor® through the Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education®. He currently works for the Division of Institutional Diversity at OSU as the Inclusion Leadership Program coordinator.  He uses his financial background to help students plan for their college years along with thinking about their futures. He also works with families to better understand the cost of college and financial aid packages. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his partner Andru and their dog Lucy.

Workshop Synopsis: College has a ton of opportunities, but some of those come at a cost. This workshop will go over creating a realistic budget that includes planning for expected and unexpected costs! This session will include planning for long and short-term financial goals along with thinking of other costs that could occur during your college experience.
