ABOUT THE CONFERENCE TRACKS
The conference occurs on four Fridays throughout February and March, with each day consisting of a keynote, breakout sessions and closing remarks. Each Friday has a specialized focus, covering different concepts of leadership and student development. These tracks, or areas of focus, are Student Success, Financial & Economic Literacy, Career Success, and 4-Year College Transfer & Graduate School Enrollment.
FINANCIAL & ECONOMIC LITERACY

On this track we will be discussing money! Ready, Set, Grow your wealth. Your starting block is the opening plenary session on leadership. The first hurdle is “Taming the Money Jungle”. Hurdle two is “Managing Your credit”. Clearing hurdle three is “College Expenses and Budgeting”. The Financial Aid Director at ECU will bring you to the closing session finish line. Don’t miss today’s sessions to be a financial winner.

Pass the baton from your educational journey to your chosen career. Today’s experts will coach you on track for success! The starting block is the opening plenary session on leadership. “Interviewing Skills” will help you clear hurdle one. “Community Involvement and Networking” gets you over hurdle two. Brush up your existing resume or start a new one from scratch as you pass hurdle three. The final challenge is “Personal Branding” on your final hurdle. The closing session will be a photo finish to the race towards your career.

Navigating the graduate school and transfer admissions process can sometimes feel like a marathon, but the presenters in this track have information that will help get you to that finish line! In this track you will hear from our dynamic plenary speaker Stan Pearson, be presented with the in’s and out’s of transferring from a two-year to a 4-year university, learn all about course equivalencies, dig into the graduate school admissions process, and be equipped with the tools necessary for securing and preparing for undergraduate research.
