Kay has over 12 years’ experience helping college students with career planning. This involves all aspects of career services that help students get the job they’re looking for after graduation. She has a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and has a NCDA Certification as a Career Services Provider. Kay has presented career topics at state and national conferences. Besides, being the advisor for the MBA department, she currently teaches Career Seminars for Seniors. Kay enjoys working with students on career planning because after the students work hard on their degrees, they need the skills to get into the career they have chosen.
Workshop Synopsis: In today’s job search, it is more important than ever to have strong interviewing skills. Students have the advantage of getting the job they want when they can interview well. This workshop will give you the information you need to present yourself in the best light when interviewing. Topics include: presentation, knowing your resume and yourself, connecting the position to your own skills and experience, answering those tough interview questions and more.
