Hi, I am Dezzarae Francis. I am the Counselor/Coordinator of Project SOAR, Student Support Services, at OSU-OKC. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis on Leadership from Southern Nazarene University. I have a great understanding of the Trio programs and a great appreciation of what it takes to make it through challenging times, as I am a TRIO alumnus. I participated in SSS and McNair. I have a love for equipping students with the tools they need to succeed. As a lifelong learner, I love to read! On a typical day, you can find me spending time with my family or watching Dr. Who. My future goals consist of completing a doctorate degree and traveling the world.
Workshop Synopsis: The Getting Organized workshop will give students an opportunity to learn the different ways to plan their schedules, and to discover which plan works best them. The workshop will give tips on how to manage school, work, and fun!
